NXTgen Foundation's work is driven entirely by the needs and potential of youth. Every program is built around four pillars — training, environment, application, and Special Rating Areas — so skills are learned, put into practice, and turned into visible impact.
Training & Skills
Through structured training and skill-building initiatives, we equip youth with practical and leadership skills that prepare them for the workplace, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. Our programs focus on talent discovery, personal growth, and confidence-building.
Environment
We aim to transform physical spaces within communities to provide safe, inspiring environments for young people. By engaging youth in these projects, they see tangible results while learning responsibility, teamwork, and community pride.
Application
We give youth the opportunity to apply what they learn by leading real projects that create positive change in their communities. This ensures skills are put into practice, talents are nurtured, and impact is visible both socially and physically.
Special Rating Areas
PrecinctOS, our partnership with eThekwini Municipality, helps neighbourhoods set up and run Special Rating Areas — community-funded extra services like security and cleaning — from the first application through to full compliance.
