NXTGEN Foundation hosted an induction programme bringing together youth from Bhambayi and surrounding communities for a day focused on preparation, development and opportunity. Through transport support, onboarding onto the R.I.P. Portal and practical learning sessions, young people were introduced to the standards required to become part of the NXTGEN journey.
Workshop 5 focused on turning NXTGEN’s vision into practical action. Through discussions around youth unemployment, community transformation, partnerships and opportunity creation, we explored how collaboration can help build a stronger future for young people and communities.
Workshop 3 focused on the progress NXTGEN had made since our earlier sessions and the practical steps needed to move our ideas forward. From Project 40 and volunteer development to community-based projects, the workshop showed how our vision was beginning to take shape.
Workshop 2 marked another important step in the NXTGEN journey as we continued sharing our vision, growing our network and building support around youth empowerment. The response from those who attended was encouraging and showed us that there is real interest in the work we are trying to do.
NXTGEN Foundation’s journey began with a vision to recognise, include, and prioritise youth by creating pathways towards opportunity. Our workshops bring together young leaders, communities, and stakeholders to turn ideas into meaningful action.
